The works involved the widening of the existing highway to provide a right turn lane, a new junction, drainage diversions and, in a later phase, the construction of 2 no. bus shelters and raised bus borders.

William Saunders were appointed to design the works, manage the procurement under an ICE Minor Works Contract, CDM, and Clerk of Works services.
