Eco Bottle Greenhouse
27 June 2018
A team from William Saunders joined forces with Newark Castle Rotary Club to construct an eco greenhouse at John Blow Primary School in Collingham.
The project utilises 2 litre plastic bottles collected by the School to form the roof and walls within a timber frame. Veolia were the cash sponsor which enabled the purchase of the timber used for the framing, with William Saunders providing the labour in conjunction with the Rotary Club.
The photo shows the combined team part way through the construction period.
With the added help of pupils from the School, the greenhouse was erected within the school day, with everyone enjoying the team effort and the fine weather during the build.
