Glasgow Fort Development
William Saunders performed the role of Architects, Principal Designer and Project Managers in this major new development at Glasgow Fort for Frasers Group.
Our involvement included initial concept design, D&B shell works and various fit out contracts within the completed shell.
The development has over 180,000 sq ft of retail space over three storeys, on Glasgow’s Auchinlea Way and includes Flannels, Sports Direct, USC, Everlast Gym, TRI UK, Evans Cycles and Coffee Boy.
The new building features a striking design with a gullwing roof structure, extensive glazing and distinctive modern façade.
In addition to the new build element, an existing adjacent retail unit has been completely reconfigured and extended to now incorporate Brand Max and B&M stores.
