Newark Dragon Boat Festival 2022

William Saunders took place in the Newark Dragon Boat Festival over the weekend in support of Beaumond House Hospice Care and The Children’s Bereavement Centre.

More than 50 companies, community organisations and groups supported the event with 35 teams taking to the waters of the River Trent in the Dragon Boat race.

Racing took place from 10am to 5.30pm, with a series of heats testing three teams at a time for a place in the finals.

Great fun was had, the boat stayed upright and there is already talk of next years event!
