Romax Technology Centre
WINNER: Sustainable Building of the Year in the East Midlands Property Awards 2014.
This three storey office building has recently been completed on the University of Nottingham Innovation Park and provides three storeys of office and research accommodation for Romax Technology, one of Nottingham’s high technology success stories working in the field of gear and drivetrain design and development for wind turbines.
Developed by The University, the design was chosen from a strong field in a design competition and the dynamic appearance of the building is characteristic of our projects in the aerospace sector. The building is designed to BREEAM Excellent standard and incorporates a green roof, extensive solar shading and will eventually be heated and powered by the central biomass unit in the adjacent Centre for Sustainable Chemistry currently being developed by the University.
The building is valued at £5.5million and was completed in April 2014.
