Waitrose Market Harborough

William Saunders was employed as Architect, Engineer and CDM Co-ordinator on this new Waitrose store set in the historic market town of Market Harborough.

A large team was responsible for delivering the project with William Saunders being involved from the initial feasibility stages working alongside the Developer, Peveril Securities to progress the scheme through planning and costing stages.

The scheme achieved a BREEAM excellent rating and used high quality, sustainable materials to help achieve this with as much construction as possible taking place off site to assist with the tight programme.

The project was completed on programme and was officially opened by Leicestershire based royal cake maker, Fiona Cairns.
